Super PSP Emulator vs Gold version PPSSPP
I just wanted to confirm this before buying gold version,
Although I am currently using the regular (free) version of PPSSPP up to the present, I am thinking of supporting you guys by buying the gold version from play store.

Then, I happened to see this app when I was searching the android play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...orp.ppsspp

Is Super PSP Emulator anyway related to the developers of PPSSPP?

Regards,

It's a 100% scam, as you can see. Someone dares to make money on the PPSSPP team's hard work, so it's actually a theft. Don't even bother buying it.
Better buy PPSSPP gold from the PPSSPP official site.

Samsung Captivate, Android 2.3.5 SAUROM, Corn Kernel v701
Fly Evo Chic 3, Android 4.4.2 Stock, improved stock kernel

RE: Super PSP Emulator vs Gold version PPSSPP
Is there a way to report such apps to Google play?
Is something like this allowed on Google play?

I'm sorry, but I can't constantly keep an eye on all the game compatibility threads I started.

Open source doesn't necessarily means that you can modify and/or distribute the work in question for commercial gains.
But, as ppsspp is licensed under GPL 2.0, modifying and selling ppsspp is indeed allowed (still not a nice move, though). But, and this is very important, you must (among other things) make the source code of the modification available to the public.
Otherwise, at least in this case, it's just illegal distribution of software on a commercial level. And that can get expensive.

RE: Super PSP Emulator vs Gold version PPSSPP
This isn't illegal but I'm not a fan, obviously Tongue

It appears to simply be a slightly modified PPSSPP.

RE: Super PSP Emulator vs Gold version PPSSPP
Are you kidding me? This is like slapping in the face Henrik and all the devs behind the PPSSPP project, how can't this be reported on the playstore? Heck, from the playstore were removed some apps which were totally free and which didn't harm anyone in the first place.

Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

I think the best way to fight it is to just ignore it. He'll give up like the other guy did. So I'm closing the thread.
