Having the same problem too, on iOS.

The issue looks like it's blowing out the texture memory and crashing. I tracked the error down to this line in Core/GPU/GLES/TextureCache.cpp (line 1611):

Code:
        PROFILE_THIS_SCOPE("loadtex");
-->        glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, level, components, w, h, 0, components2, dstFmt, pixelData);

It tries to detect a memory error but it doesn't work because it's crashing at a lower, OS-level call. I'm not sure how to fix this, though Sad

I cant seem to get Ultimate Ghosts ‘n Goblins to work correctly on the emu. any one else have problems running game??

No, this game is running just fine on the latest version of PPSSPP 1.4 MAC OS X.
