Monster hunter threads in "Playable Games"
i am just wondering would it be better to merge the threads of different version with same Compatibility.

since now the forum contains 3 threads on the same version with different language. But those versions should all have same core which share same compatibility.

related threads:

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite EU

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G
http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=1927

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite US

Moved.

RE: Monster hunter threads in "Playable Games"
But Monster Hunter games are fairly all the same... This is a particularity...
So I would agree to merge the threads that FelixWan has mentioned in his post Smile

at the moment
i don't see any critical bug or specified compatibility problem on one single version.
in other word, all save data are common for these 3 versions and if a problem occur in one version, it also occurs in other versions as tested before
That's what i mean by "game core"

actually, i found most of the discussion in the board is focused in the thread EU, but i dont think all players in the EU thread is playing EU XD
at least not me Tongue

Ah, it might be better to merge it (for this game) then. Smile
Our consideration back then is, there's some games, like Naruto (EUR) that behaves really differently than the JP counterpart, in that case it should be better to have it on different threads to make the discussion-and reports less confusing. Tongue
When the compatibility or the issue is exactly the same, then i also think it should be better to have it on a single thread, it makes the forum cleaner too, so i'll vote 'yes'. Big Grin

RE: Monster hunter threads in "Playable Games"
I voted no. What if one region or another ends up having its own issue? Then you can't split it off very easily from the main game's thread anymore.

And no, don't merge MH3rd with MH3rd HD. They're two separate games with their own issues.

By now, all the issues appeared in both EU and US versions Smile
And if ever there is an issue which appear in only one version, we can always create a new thread for that, but in my opinion, this will not arrive...

No problem about that Wink

With some thoughts, I think that the Japanese version of the game (MHP2nd G) shouldn't be merged with the EU version and the US version.

It has some differences (more content for example), this is more than just a different region of the game Smile

To conclude, I think that we should merge the EU and the US version of MHFU Smile

RE: Monster hunter threads in "Playable Games"
That'd be fine. 2nd G is to MHFU as God Eater Burst is to God Eater, so to speak. IIRC 2nd G has more items like the lobster set(pirate set? something like that) while MHFU actually has a few less items.

2nd G also contains Korean version... (and also "patched" Chinese/English version Tongue)

although Freedom unite seems deleted quite a number of components compare with 2nd G, we are now concern about the point of compatibility. I don't think the compatibility of a game would variant a lot in this case since they are all obviously having same game engine.

that's y i suggested to merge all those threads.
