Nope, almost all effect are rendered correctly.
You need to turn on "Multithreaded (experimental)" in "System" settings and "Read FrameBuffers to Memory (CPU)" in "Graphics" settings.

Works for me, overlay effect are rendered now correctly (something like motion blur).
My system spec: Windows 8 x64, HD6850, Catalyst 13.8 beta.
I'm using European version of game (ULES-01513).

This maybe related only to ULUS-10567 (USA version), European work fine for me.

EDIT: Tested rev 1372, motion blur effect is much less visible, more like on PSP!

I can confirm, that game crashes in the room with that red orb spawning reaper. Tried many configs and still nothing. The main problem is that it's not like just image got static - you can't go into emu's menu at all, so you have to force close it.

Does anyone else have the game crash when using a computer to customize weapons and you try to exit out of it to go back to the game? It seems to happen for me. I even tested it. It's once you select a weapon you want to customize and you try exiting out. It does the same when trying to exit the load screen from the computer as well. I made a log for exiting the weapons screen. I have yet to do so for the load screen.

So I'm using version 0.9 of the PPSSPP and obtained the following results on the images, I'm managing to play normally and had problems only when I used the LIBERATION!

And when I try to switch characters, the display has a very clear purpose, but so far I'm able to play normally

I've got a similar thing going on with my game as the first picture in the above post. There's this blue overlay that persists throughout the game with very few exceptions (camera angle getting to close for one). This problem occurs on both the US and EUR versions I've tested. Other than that game seems to work fine.

Set "Mode" in "Game Settings" -> "Graphics" to "Read Framebuffers To Memory (CPU)"
Enable "Multithreaded" in "Game Settings" -> "System"

I put these options and the result is that the screen is "flashing" from time to time and when I changed my character to AYA as she was attached a picture.

Tested On Version 64x PPSSPP and 32x PPSSPP

Disabling "hardware transform" fixes that last pic, but becomes slow a bit Tongue

It's funny cause it only happens if you enable "multithreaded cpu/gpu", but that fixes the HUD from disappearing.
