I actually have the fifth-generation, Intel HD Grapghics, which according to you have OpenGL 2.1. It still doesn't work. What could be the problem ?

I have a laptop with the Intel 965 family. Only the 0.9x builds are not usable. I run games on 0.8x and 0.7x builds normally, but when trying to use any 0.9.1 build I will get the "Failed to compile draw2dprogram! This shouldn't happen." error log no matter what I mess with on configurations or .ini

The compatibility with OpenGL 2.0 need started only on the 0.9x?

Hey, I have a laptop with a x3100 and the thread states that this GPU is compatible with 2.0. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers but I still get the white box issue when I try to play any game. This is with 9.1, the emulator works ok with some of the later 8.1 versions but is a little bit laggy and so it is very frustrating that the newer versions do not work. Can anyone help me out?

EDIT: Just saw that it needs to be non-buffered. My bad.

reality_marble, when you get that message, can you press Ctrl+C while the message show and paste (Ctrl+V) it here? It would be very helpful to know what the rest of the error message says.

I'm have my laptop which using Intel GPU and yeah...it didn't work well, but amazingly, PPSSPP works well with Intel GPU especally running in Linux platform.

Well, if anyone have the Intel GPU on their PC/Laptop and wanted to configure it out instead of having some extra bucks for buying GPU cards, I have the idea:

1. Download and install Linux distro like Ubuntu and install alongside it with Windows 7.
2. Do some updates into this and that like installing media codecs
3. Install the dependencies to compile PPSSPP from source (compiling from source is much better than using unofficial Linux builds)
4. Perform the application compiling of PPSSPP
5. Run the PPSSPP build that is freshly compiled from your machine.
6. Test it whether it works. If it is ok, so no problem to run it.

Although it is bit pain to install other operating system, but it would be better for Intel GPU users. I had been tested it out with my laptop and it totally works!

Try this:
Right click desktop and click personalization
Then choose Display Settings
Then change the colors to Highest(32bits)
I don't know will this fix your problem, but it fixed mine

my laptop is currently using Intel GMA 3600 and PPSSPP is working fine with this laptop (though at some time I got a "blue screen of death" while playing ppsspp but it works really fine if I don't use too many programs and change some settings in PPSSPP Big Grin). But I have to say, Intel Graphics is not optimized for gaming performance unlike AMD and Nvidia did.

o.o Oh Hi XD
P.S: Wanted to go to Japan so badly

AOD270
Windows 7 Home Basic (32bit)
Intel Atom N2800 (Quad-core) 1.86GHz
