Settings -> controls -> Control Mapping

Maybe it needs a more obvious name or look..

why its like that??? i think its better to brought back the control setting from 8.1 cuz its a lot easier and easy to set up. cuz if u have many game its tiring to set up

The only thing you should need to change for each game is the right analog stick (If you use it). Some games use the D-pad for look orientation, some use the buttons on the right for that; why not setup one emulator for the D-pad layout, and another one for the other layout, just label them, ie: PPSSPP_D-Pad. Just a thought. Big Grin

can already be done, just map the keyboard ones to your right stick and you are good to go.

Not sure where you're going with that; as I stated earlier, some games require different buttons for the look orientation, either Arrows (Left side), or S,Z,A,X (Right side) if I tag arrows to suit one game, but for another game I need the S,Z,A,X, I still need to change the control setup for that game; having two emulators setup for each layout means you don't change anything, just choose the emulator that suits the game, maybe I'm missing something, but that makes sense to me.

RE: 0.9 is here!
There are actually a few show-stopper bugs that'll result in a 0.9.1 or whatever Henrik decides to version it as:

-A compatibility reporting server flood bug that happens when you go into settings
-Win32's flash0/memstick folder finding code was all screwed up

Henrik fixed the first one, and I fixed the second one.

RE: 0.9 is here!
Yeah, so if you're using git builds, you have nothing to worry about, but if you're using stable builds, this will be a critical one to upgrade to.

RE: 0.9 is here!
anyone having problems with display size on android? I was having no issues with 0.8.1 on my galaxy mega, didn't have any with 0.9 but today i've tried to play Final fantasy IV collection and the screen size was like a half inch of my display, and then every game start to act like that. I've tried to uninstall and install again but no luck.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

RE: 0.9 is here! (and 0.9.1, a bugfix release)
0.9.1 is out now, and it fixes several critical bugs:

-Fix compatibility reporting flooding spam caused by 0.9
-Win32: Fix flash0/memstick folders not being detected correctly, resulting in missing fonts and saves.
-Fix crash in the Settings menu related to CPU lock speed

Please update.

Bug? : the setting 'show left analog stick' can't be turned off, the setting seems to be re enable each time you close ppsspp. This problem happens on Windows and Android
