All Games Run Slow
Hi everyone,
I have tried to run a few games through PPSSPP on my Xperia Miro. All games run extremely slow, even though they are supposed to be reported working. The specifications for my phone are:
Android OS, v4.0
Qualcomm MSM7225A
800 MHz Cortex-A5
Adreno 200

Is this hardware not good enough to play PSP games? Or do I have to mess around with the settings?
Thanks! Smile

There's your problem right there. Your Cortex A5 could be too slow for PPSSPP at that speed.

I think the recommended spec for ARM CPUs are 1.0 GHz at the absolute minimum.

You can try using this guide to help get a bit more performance:-
(Scroll to the bottom of the mega post for the performance tips)

http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4383

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: All Games Run Slow
Thanks! I'll try that out and post the result soon.

Not much of a difference, so I guess it won't work. Thank you very much for the quick response.
