RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
yep i think i will, depending on how high and stable tour overclock could go without probs.

Xperia play has a good cpu.
ppsspp runs about half speed on my phone now and im at single core 1.3 ghz, when jit is implemented frameskip etc im confident of very good speeds.Smile

The same CPU at higher clock will always be faster than the same CPU at lower clock Smile

Comparing clocks across different CPUs might not always be meaningful. An i7 at 3.6GHz is many times faster than a P4 at 3.6GHz, and it's probably similar between mobile CPUConfused. Look at benchmarks, high single core CPU scores will likely mean faster PPSSPP.

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I downloaded the version with JIT that was released a few minutes ago, installed it on my phone, activated the JIT settings, but when I select a game it closes.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

Also in my device with last build it closes.

There wasn't a version with JIT released. That's just in-development code. That branch is not ready for use yet.

The master build is the ppsspp with all stable features.
Jit is tested on the "Armjit", but it doesn´t really work so far.
If you want to try new games and functions use the apk compiled from master.

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
On my phone VBO is a little faster (but still has performance problems). but that's why I made it an option... over time we'll find out if there's a solution that's fastest for everyone or if we'll have to keep it an option.

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
arm jit where? is it usable to test?

ok just tried jit, it seems a lot faster in boot up loading times etc, but i only have 2 games to try tekken 6, which doesnt work and mk unchained which doesnt work anymore so i cant try itSad

mk unchained has been broke since 6th of jan, others hav reported to, but yes i can defo see an improvement in loading, if mk worked i think i could be ingame about 1 min.

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
Armjit boots fine on my device, I already made a video of The 3rd Birthday running on it but I haven't uploaded it yet. It does run a little faster, but loading is ATROCIOUS. Even loading character movements takes a few seconds. I'll upload the video later today.

EDIT: Also, I do have to put in that VBO does make mine slower too, hardware transforming works very well though.
