@RazorBack, since SEGA have hired the developer "Christian Whitehead" the guy who made the "retro software engine" for SEGA.. He updated games like Sonic 1 & Sonic CD, for both android & iOS. He did a good job of remastering them. He will continue to work with SEGA & update many of there mobile games. And hopefully future releases.

Only now, we are seeing some sort of movement towards retro comeback (from some company's) even SNK Playmore release - Samurai Showdown 2 for iOS.

The only *good* thing that Sega could bring outside Japan (anything animu doesn't count) is Sonic and Sonic alone. And those HD rereleases, but isn't that many.

Compare that with the Sega back during 6th gen. console heydays; that's the problem.

Money, 'nuff said. Every AAAA corporation keep racing to gain as much profit in the most ridiculously easy+laziest way as possible. And this is the outcome. Most of them never willing to do anything beyond free2plays, mobile or browser games, that's the truthfact.

Also there's no more positive to say at all about AAAA video gaming industry; every time you get your hopes high, you'd better know they'll crush your hopes in the worst way possible.

Wouldn't be likely to be GTA V if you ask me. It could be San Andreas, but R* had their mobile ports outsourced to War Drum Studios.

I'd be laughing if they skipped SA in favor of GTA IV mobile....WITH BETTER PORTING QUALITY THAN THE PC VERSION

To be more specific, A SOCIAL GAME!

Lulz, "Invite your friends or respawn at the nearest hospital for $50".

Technically, though, that depends if the codebase is good enough. The mobile GTA games appear to struggle on weaker devices despite that most other games with similar graphics can run it just fine.

OK, but there is no problem leaving a bit of the subject. This game is a great release for Android, one of the first to support OpenGL ES 3.0 and one of the most anticipated of the year.

RE: Rumors of a possible GTA 5 for Android/iOS
I think the controls of GTA V will be too complex for touchscreen, it would need a 3rd party gamepad. Plus It would be a horrible experience playing on a small 4.5" screen. Will need minimum 7" screen to enjoy a game like this. I don't think this will happen, but i do know San Andreas will make it Smile

Let's forget the Asphalt 8 and talk about GTA V, ok? Wink

The Rockstar says that will release a PS Vita version, but with a different history. Maybe they port the same game to Android. Will be great play it on my S2! Big Grin But they needs optimize that, reduce the graphic quality and make other things, because the Android not is powerful like the Vita, and the gameplay will be not the same with touch pad. Smile
