RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Did anyone found out how to play any dissidia game on 60fps instead of current 30fps?

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
So I'm still trying to get 60fps unlocked for Tales of the world 3: Radiant Mythology.

By editing sceDisplayWaitVblankStart at 08AAF180 to nop. I get 60fps however the game speeds up. This happens if I remove the following sceDisplayWaitVblankStart after the breakpoint also.

However I know this game goes into 60fps for both the intro movie and the title screen. Is there any way to make the game stay that way the whole time?

Could this work with Metal Slug X and Metal Slog Anthology? The menus are 60 fps, but when you're in-game it's 30.

Pretty sure it's impossible to do in 2d games like Metal Slug. All animations have a set number of frames, increasing fps to 60 whould speed up the game twofold.

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
After messing with Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus today on both JPCSP and PPSSPP, i've noticed that the game on JPCSP runs at 60fps in menus and 30fps in battle.
However, when running in PPSSPP the game runs at 60fps even in battle.

This game doesn't work online for some reason when hosting with PPSSPP, but it does work when hosting with JPCSP->PPSSPP, the only downside is the game returns an error to both emulators and DC ensues with both players returning to the lobby. I've spoken with [Unknown] about this issue and it may be a timing problem... after trying several settings on both emulators to no avail, i figured it may be caused by both emulators running at different fps online.

I want to do a test by limiting the FPS in battle of Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus on PPSSPP to 30fps and leaving it at 60fps in the menus, just like JPCSP. But for the love of God i couldn't make the CwCheat work _ _"

Please, help.

EDIT: Oops, just tested it and you can limit the FPS by CPU clock.

UPDATE: Nope, stills returns the same error, it's not related to FPS desyncs.

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
So I'm playing Toukiwami in 60FPS and it's really a lot better especially with the camera control and aiming since I'm using a gun. I wanna ask how do you guys find these patches/cheats. I wanna try to make the game run in 60FPS on my own Smile. I'm a pc player so I'm used to smooth camera control and I wanna play Monhun 3rd in 60FPS but there isn't any code that works in here.

Anyways, this is the code for Toukiwami 60FPS

RE: 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Technically it's possible to do a 60fps patch to any game meaning even if game does not have any modes already built-in it still is possible, you only need to learn and gain experience in this, have a bit of this and spent alot of this.

I joke around a bit with those wiki links(maybe except the first one which might be a valid source to checkTongue), but actually the joke is real - without lots of self learning, having a mind open for weird things and wasting lots of time, you can forget about it. There is no one method, you can't just follow a tutorial nor be teached how to, if you're extremely lucky you can still find some games have built in 60fps modes, but most don't even if they run videos or menus at such framerate, in fact comparing the difference might also confuse you more with accident results, like the 15fps code for MH ...kukuku[evil anime laugh], so yeah no progress without understanding.

Unlocking 60fps itself is actually very easy in most psp games, [Unknown] posted one if not more of the ways somewhere in this thread, most games simply skip every second frame, so yeah whatever way you use, it's easy to find. It's a bit silly, but half of the time pressing stop in disassembly will put you around the skip code, so with a bit of experience - if you can recognize it on sight, you don't even have to waste time looking for it.;] However that's not all you have to do to enjoy the game, since if you unlock full fps, most games will not be happy about that and you have to correct everything which does not work with it separately, that's the hard part, a reason why my TK code is a bit long and also why we don't just see people go wild making such patches to every game.
I actually tried many games requested in this thread, the thing is, it's pretty quick to see which games will require lots of work and it's boring, nobody's gonna do it without some serious dedication. Most you gain from higher fps is responsivness and that actually doesn't matter much if it's constant from when you started playing it, only really bothersome, if it's a downgrade from same game on other platform.

60fps is natural for psp, it's the only framerate which matches refresh rate 1:1 so sure it's possible, but games are locked to lower framerates when they're too heavy to keep that 60fps stable, so results may vary, probably would cause lags making most games forced that way unplayable. Would also rape battery, for that reason I don't think it's worth even trying:].

Just tested this on T Kiwami and it doesn't work for me :'(
What happens is whenever I leave the house it gives me black screen and suddenly crash.
Tested it without turning it on at start and go straight to GH, enable the code... get some quest... then right after the quest starts, I'll fail the quest.

Edit: My T Kiwami is ver. 1.06

That's why I don't like cwcheats being reposted without linking source/including all info from the person that made them... heh.:c
@cybercjt check this post and check if you have same release of the game. If you don't then sorry, I made it only for my game, if you do you can also try other cheats to make sure you actually updated it to 1.06 since for whatever reason alot of people have problems with updating this game.
On correct version, it should work fine as long as hardware is powerfull enough, which I tried again on latest ppsspp. Could get broken by changing psp cpu clock since it requires twice as much power, but not sure as I don't use this option.

Thanks again bro Big Grin

No wonder it doesn't work seems like my game is not updated right Undecided. Tried all 1.06 not a single cheat worked.

crisis core: final fantasy vii from 30 to 60fps?
Hey!

Is it possible to play Crisis Core: Final Fantasy Vii at 60 frames per second?
While i'm now playing the ntsc version with the latest ppsspp build, the game is locked at 30 frames per second. Do i need some kind of patch or something to unlock the 30 fps lock?

Thanks

RE: crisis core: final fantasy vii from 30 to 60fps?
On which O.S. are you playing? Did you try put the internal CPU clock in 333Mhz? Go to Settings>System>Change emulated's PSP clock (or something like this), and slide the bar till get 333. It might work, at least on a decent PC (is needed a good graphic card).

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro
