Question Special Characters cannot be bound in Linux version
Hello, I have a Turkish qwerty keyboard and language specific characters cannot be bound as controller keys in Linux version (they're working on windows and android). the keys are: ı ğ ü ş ö ç
it would be great if someone tell me a workaround or even a patch for this issue.

I use debian 64 jessie latest stable with xfce desktop (don't think it matters though)

also, do you think there's any major performance differences between windows and linux on intel gpu? i haven't really noticed anything by far but if its worse i'll just stick to windows.

What Intel GPU do you have?

Also. It is weird that those keys are not binding.

Everything is Hitsuzen!

yeah, isn't it weird?
I have Intel HD Graphics 4000 that performs alright in most cases. I do have a discrete amd hd 8730m on the laptop as well, but it's not very power efficient, drains the battery quickly and heats up without too much performance gains in ppsspp.

MAYBE ahk will be workaround for you

this is what you will need to put into script https://autohotkey.com/docs/misc/Remap.htm

but to start search autohotkey on google and download it than just search for some tutorials on youtube

preparing everything + learning should not take longer than 10 mins

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Though installing Windows (which AHK requires) will take a lot longer then 10 mins.

The only major difference with PPSSPP on linux with intel iGPU vs windows is that you are limited to the non DirectX (for obvious reasons) backends. Currently Vulkan is not really a stable thing so it will really depend on your iGPU's performance and driver support for OpenGL until Vulkan gets better.
