ps2 emulator on android

RE: ps2 emulator on android
my current droid is GALAXY S 4. i loaded a custom linux onto it. it now lets me overclock the 8 core processor in it from 1.9 up to 2.4ghz. mix with the 2gb ram its better than my current pc *HP pavilion dv7t-4100* so PS2 emulation is POSSIBLE its a matter of who wants to code it. it would take a bit, but I'm sure within the year someone will have a close call or two. we will most likely see PS2 emulator on droid market in the next 2 years. keep in mind the NOTE 3 isn't released yet, but its supposed to be 10-20% better than S4. so be patient and keep in mind before anyone tells me no phone is 8 cores i do have the international version.

PC processors are a lot more powerful than mobiles.. so a 2ghz mobile processor isn't as quick as a PC processor at 2ghz.

They will become somewhat on par with PC processors starting in 2014. When smartphones will ship with 64-bit chipsets.

Uh-oh, that'll mark the end of humanity, then.

I'm not kidding.

Well, you know.

What will happen when the so-called smartphone has become way too 'smart', even surpassing whatever PC/console/etc you can afford?

Relax, it has nothing to do with Skynet or such kind.

RE: ps2 emulator on android
Lol you're so wrong on this statement.

Did you think about the reason why dynarec is so hard to port for mobile devices?

They use totally different architectures! While the Vita uses pretty much more then a similar architecture to mobile phones/tablets today's.
Using this theory it would actually be easier to emulate the PS Vita then any other device ATM.

The only thing we need to make both PS2 and Ps Vita emulators, is a good developer team which is totally dedicated to the cause and exploits out of this device.

And I'm serious, we can actually achieve to a speed that is faster than the average PC with some rewriting of that pcsx2 code(which is full of errors).
