So I have downloaded the PPSSPP emulator after seeing a friend use it on their laptop.

I think mods & admins here have to seriously crank up the forum rules level straight into insanely paranoid level (instant thread lock if necro-ing/making nonsense topics like this, insta-permaban if they bust you pirating the games, etc), just like what every other emulation forums did (PCSX2? Emuforums?).

Even if you download some ROM protected by copyright, you can use this only for 24h, just for test. After this, delete or buy the original game.

That's just a BS disclaimer ROM sites came up with in the '90's to try and protect their own hides. It's untrue.

perhaps a few homebrew download pages should be added to a sticky saying "get games here".

No one on this planet would kindly do that after they downloaded it from such sites. Unless the said game sucked balls so hard that could make you vomit 5 minutes after playing.
