RE: Turbo Key not working on recent builds.
So, basically, the problem is it no longer automatically enables frameskip?

on latest build ppsspp-v0.7.6-629-g2b68356-Android turbo key mode now works fine for skipping videos, but unlock fps limits all time never work.

Unthrottling the fps wont make it go any faster than your hardware can support. The third VPS setting is the exact same setting that Henrik had originally when you held the turbo button. Unless perhaps it also turn on frame skipping to max. I don't recall it ever doing that though.

RE: Turbo Key not working on recent builds.
Yeah that was the problem, the original method that Henrik made after raven02 implementation of turbo mode, was unlocked VPS to an unlimited value (I think, since people said Lunar ran on 1000+ VPS with it) and also maxed frame skipping, which is why it'd give the impression of running even faster than what the device could handle with just unlocking the vps.

RE: Turbo Key not working on recent builds.
They put it back how it was on the latest builds, so it should be just fine now.

RE: Turbo Key not working on recent builds.
I hope this one makes everyone happy as last commit reverts the turbo touch key back to its original behaviour and thus cannot limit to desired FPS let say 90, 120 etc or unthrottle (3 stages)

Right now when FPS limit enabled , the turbo touch key will change itself to the 3 stages and i think it makes more sense . If FPS limit disabled , it revert to its original behaviour .

Sounds perfect to me! Glad to know there was a way to use both mode, will avoid people asking for one or the other.

RE: Turbo Key not working on recent builds.
Can it be made like before by holding turbo key (TAB - for windows) to speed up and upon releasing it goes back to normal...I actually preferred it like that over now how it's toggled...

I 2nd this. The toggle button is nice for slower games, but on windows most games run fine.
Could you maybe add a radio button to select which system we want to use? (toggle to a preset fps or press to speedup to max, slowdown on release)
This was we can preserve both systems and everybody is happy Big Grin
