PPSSPP Feature Request Page

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Hi, I'm a big video game music fan and I'd like to kindly request a sound recording feature. A simple WAV dump like in Dolphin or DeSmuME would be great and, I hope, easy to implement. Apologies if this has been asked before, I didn't find it on the first page of this thread or in any other thread through search.

I know a large proportion of games have ATRAC3 audio that can be extracted and played, but some games' soundtracks are sequenced and there is currently no way to play extract and play this music outside of the game. Recording in real-time as the game is playing at the Windows mixer level is a sub-optimal solution because the audio may go through various conversions of volume, sample rate, etc. and if the game speed fluctuates or otherwise glitches you obviously will have that in your recording. I strive to get as close to perfection as possible in doing game rips/recordings and this would be much appreciated by me in reaching that goal.

Thanks for consideration and to all contributors for the features already implemented and for general speedy and excellent work!

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
ADD: An option to use a custom display resolution in fullscreen, it will help to play games in non-buffered rendering.

For example: My monitor has 1600x900 and if I want to play a game that only runs correctly using non-buffered rendering (DBZ Tenkaichi Tag Team), I need to manually change my display resolution 'cause the game runs so slow in 1600x900 (I only play in fullscreen) that it's unplayable. I'm really awaiting for this feature 'cause I don't have a high-end PC to play games in 1600x900 but I can play all games perfectly with 2x internal resolution and this feature don't work without buffered rendering.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
A memory stick menu like what's found on the PS2 - being able to copy or delete individual save files from a device or PC or being able to create multiple save sticks like the pcsx2(PS2 emulator) is able to.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
can the " save and load " state buttons be separated from one another?
i sometimes presses the wrong one! (android)
instead of trying to save from a good/safe part of a game (where there is no save game spot)
i pressed the "load" button.
so i had to repeat all the things i did before the last save.
that really sucks. and irritating (im irritating too coz im not careful when pressing the appropriate button Big Grin)

i just want to separate them for safety purposes Undecided

Some devs said it's not possible. The non-buffer rendering mode uses only the default resolution (the native of screen).

I think they don't understood it right, it's just an option to change the default resolution like in any other emulator. Is just put "Fullscreen: 800x600, 1024x768 etc" and play without buffered rendering. Why couldn't it be possible? Huh

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
I play PPSSPP on Windows using F710 gamepad. I'd like to ask if it's possible to implement a feature which would trigger short vibration when any gamepad button is pressed. This will give players an illusion of interactive feedback in some arcade games (such as Houkago Live).

It's a very simple feature, but it should be optional for sure.

I would love some controller feedback and I don't think it's too complicated to implement.

Playing PPSSPP and PS2 emulator exclusively on a PC:
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
AMD FX6100 Hexa-core CPU @ 3.4gHz
ASUS GTX650
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 @ 1600mHz
Logitech F710 (Also Logitech G19, Logitech G700s, Logitech G35, Logitech X540, Logitech C510 and Logitech ATK3)

The other emulators uses by default something like the buffer rendering that we have in the PPSSPP, because of this we can make superslamping. I don't understand nothing about that, but I think we need a renderer to make the resolution big or small. Only a dev can explain to you.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
can we have option to choose in game list games show THEIR FILE NAMES + extensions ?

and bigger slider bar +/or button to scroll to the bottom of the list

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Being able to set different settings for each game would be nice rather than always changing settings for certain games. I would really appreciate it if you could consider this feature.
