PPSSPP Feature Request Page

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
You can bind the right mouse button to anything, but not the left (this is by design, as you wouldn't be able to navigate the menus with the mouse, then, and due to how the input is set up).

@TheDax

Oh so it is not possible to use the mouse itself to play the game in the future by binding LMB and mouse movement to in-game buttons like in PCSX2? Argh damn hahas. Anyways, thanks for the clarification.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Not currently, no. I'm not really sure if it's possible to decouple the mouse in that way without losing its ability to navigate the menu screens (I guess we could maybe do some sort of in-game vs. in-menu checks? Hm..).

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Hmm the last I checked PCSX2 allowed me to set a keyboard button as a mouse control which could toggle whether the mouse was used to navigate the screen or to be used in the game itself. Not sure if that helps but just wanted to point that out.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Id like the ability to assign sound off/on to a button. Preferably the left trigger. That way I can turn it off during game play, and back on while in cut-scenes. Without having to go into the settings.

Mad you have volume up/down buttons to turn on/off sound on handheld devices... and more easier scroll on headphones in computer or simply in options.

turn off the animated background effects (flying buttons or something). It looks good, but consumes more CPU as some games Smile

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
I was wondering if it would be possible to implement the possibility to update games successfully through the use of iso tool (if it is considered a gray area, at least). I read different times the main thread and didn't find this kind of request, but if I missed it i'll remove my post.

Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
@Gurlok - Updates we download from psn are compressed and encrypted with update keys which we simply don't have and that might actually be the only problem as it updates "successfully" but with incorrect data hence breaking the game. Cannot imagine any emulator-side workaround for that.
Similar problem touches MHp3rd(the non HD version) or the extra dlc files that come with each GE2 update, we just don't have the keys to decrypt some things, that's where the real psp has to be used.
