Hi Everyone
Well hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I need some help. Idk where to go in the forum for these questions. So if someone can answers them and or help me and lead me in the right direction, that would be a great help because I plan on focusing my YouTube channel around iOS Jailbreaks and tweaks and I saw this And i thought about doing walk throughs of psp games on the PPSSPP Games. So here are my questions
1. How do I get games on my ipad? I've seen this thing called SSH and something else but I have no idea what that is and how to do it.
2. Is there a way to install games on the device without having to go on a pc/laptop?
3. What games work on iOS? because I wouldn't want to waste time Downloading something and then it not working
4. I use display recorder, so what are good settings to record such games for this emulator.?

RE: Hi Everyone
Hi ! Wink

1°) You can go here for more informations on iOS builds >> http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=1763 Smile
2°) See response 1°) Wink
3°) To see if games will work or not, search the name of the game in question in the forum. However, don't talk about downloading games because piracy is forbidden on this forum...
4°) I don't know Display Recorder, so I can't tell you...

♦ Intel Core i7-2630QM | 4 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Debian Testing

What do you mean ? PPSSPP is just an emulator, there's no comparison with piracy ! Wink

Idk what a build is so I have no idea what they are talking about In that thread you directed me to.
What I want to know is simply
1.how to put games on your device without having to use a PC/Laptop and if it possible to do so.
2.and what games work on iOS
That is all lol.

A build = a version of PPSSPP Smile

1°) PPSSPP emulates PSP games by their digital copy as .iso files (or .cso files which are compressed .iso files). So you have to have a PSP in Custom Firmware with your game in there (UMD disc) to dump the game as an .iso file which will be saved on your PSP's Memory Stick. Then you can copy this file on your PC and then on your device. You can find the tools to make this and more information on Google ! Wink

2°) To know if a game will work or not, you have to go on the game's thread on the forum to see the results people give, otherwise, you can ask if someone has tested the game on iOS Smile

If you want to know more about PPSSPP, I think you should take a look at these threads (which can be found at the top of the differents parts of the forum, labeled as "Important Threads") :
>> Global Forum Rules
>> Frequently asked questions
>> READ BEFORE POSTING (Commercial Games - Compatibility and Results)
>> How to get games for PPSSPP
>> How to test games to help things get fixed
