Fonts issue in ubuntu
I don't have any fonts after building the lastest SDL rev, i copied the flash0 folder to the build folder and still no fonts... i think is a build issue, can you point me out what might be the issue?

also i'm willing to make a ppa for ubuntu sdl builds (and the qt version when i get to compile it properly)...

Also, the angelXwind's autobuilds only compile the headless binary not sdl.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
I think that qt builds can be done with the qt4 libs (qt5 is the default on raring), i'll try later when i get the fonts working properly.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
Hmm, try copying assets to ~/assets, not sure if that will help.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
Still no change.

It throws this error with every font file, even with the flash0 folder on ~/:
Code:
19:43:790 user_main    I[HLE]: /home/hairo/ppsspp/Core/HLE/sceFont.cpp:465 Font file not found: flash0:/font/jpn0.pgf

As of right now, this is my folder structure.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
So the problem is fonts, not the UI, right?

It looks for flash0/ in the same place it looks for Memstick/. Easy way: save a game, and look where the files are created. There's your answer.

Sorry, I don't know what exactly the paths are on Linux.

Edit: no, I'm wrong, not on Linux, I guess. Try ~/.ppsspp/flash0/.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
Thanks, it worked... here's the ppa:
ppa:hairocr8/unofficial-ppsspp-git-daily

install the ppa with:
Code:
sudo sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hairocr8/unofficial-ppsspp-git-daily

And the package with:
Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ppsspp-git

I'll update it every night for now...

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
I had this font issue last time. Deleted all the ppsspp git folder and start grabbing the git and compile again. Problem solved.

RE: Fonts issue in ubuntu
Hey Hairo, thanks for the repo.

Unfortunately, I'm having the problem stated in http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4413
This happens whether I'm using your PPA or the AngelXwind download.

Was that the font issue you were asking about here?
