RE: Phantom Kingdom Portable
As of 1.2.2, setting I/O Timing Method to "Simulate UMD Delays" will fix the freezing/crashing when loading certain dialogue scenes. This solves the issue for both Windows and Android versions.

Buffered Rendering causes minor graphical issues on some menus on the Android version. The equipment and skill lists of the character status menus both use the smaller character portrait and have a moving cursor are affected (the stat names disappear but the numbers remain visible). The attack menu will also slightly cut off displayed skill costs of skills adjacent to the one currently selected. The Windows version is unaffected by this.

Large sprites suffer from minor graphical issues though the extent depends on version. This is most obvious during the prologue. Buffered rendering on Android will cause part of Zeta's cape to bleed through his legs and what little text of the two location names that appear are scrambled. Valvoga's (the 3-headed... thing) and Babylon's (the giant serpent) sprites are more recurring examples. Opting to skip buffer effects will correct all this (in addition to the aforementioned menu issues). The Windows version, however, will display Zeta and the first as well as the beginning half of the second prologue location names correctly but not other large sprites nor the first half of the second prologue location name regardless of rendering mode.

RE: Phantom Kingdom Portable
Thanks. Someone reported "Playable" without the UMD IO Timing, but also with disable stencil and alpha test... using 1.2.1. We've also fixed an issue that was very similar to this in Crimson Gem Saga, which is in the latest git build.

Screenshots and GE debugger info for the graphics issues would help us fix them:

Remember to test the latest git build - it contains fixes and improvements over 1.2.2. It will soon be 1.3.0 as of posting this.

Based on the description above, I'm going to move this to Ingame.

RE: Phantom Kingdom Portable
Game patched to 0.9.3, starts fine, hit "start game" and watch intro scene play out. As soon as player is given control, "bad v-shader cached" pops up and crashes emulator. Also happens with Super Robot Wars Advance Portable.

Playing on PPSSPP v. 1.6.3 on 1050ti, Vulkan.
