RE: PPSSPP supports more games with ad-hoc now
Currently i'm working on rearranging the Adhocctl timings to match the timing with the one used by PRX files so that i can fix the message/dialog box issue on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 and .hack//Link without causing lag/stutter when creating/connecting/joining a group/room.
Hopefully it can solves the failed to join issue on some games (ie. LEGO Indiana Jones 2) without causing issue on other games LOL

Looks like JPCSP got some commits regarding ProOnline maybe it could help?

Unless you already saw them lol.

RE: PPSSPP supports more games with ad-hoc now
Seems like seeing people in lobbies over the internet is more stable now.
But now if someone requests an event like D-Link in KHBBS it spams it over me all the time lol even if I say no.
You are in the right track tho with the latest changes.

But the latest changes is making Dissida 012 takes a really really really long time to join a room LOL
But i think it's a different issue with the way how it tries to connect seems to be odd

RE: PPSSPP supports more games with ad-hoc now
Okay, i've updated the test builds on my signature (below) with the latest one.
Please give it a try.

What's fixed:
- An Attempt to make Adhocctl & Apctl to works properly, which removes the lag when creating/connecting/joining a group/room/lobby, and apparently also fix joining issue on LEGO Indiana Jones 2 (may also fix other games with similar issue)
- Fix joining issue on Dissidia 012

The only workaround that is left to be fixed is the GvG Next Plus workaround which helped preventing connection issue on high latency networks.
GvG Next Plus doesn't works well even with JPCSP + prx files when i tested it with simulated 150ms latency using clumsy LOL so i guess i should leave that workaround alone (which doesn't seems to have any bad side effects on other games)

I only tried 1 game (Kingdom Hearts) online and that worked alright.
Even the D-Link bug thing was not there.
Kizuna Drive seems to work locally still but I didnt try ultimate ninja heroes 3 because I deleted it. (I know its a problematic game lol).
You managed to fix a game that I didnt get to work locally and thats Carnage Heart EXA so good job on that.

Btw don't create savestate using these test build, since i might be changing some experimental naming to a proper one before making a PR thus saves states being made using test build may no longer be compatible with official build after merged.

Anyway, i've found the proper fix for GvG Next Plus so it works without workaround anymore, but i'll probably add another settings to enable/disable this workaround as a hackish way to prevent getting connection issue in lobby over high latency networks for GvG, Dissidia, or any other games that might have this kind of issue.

Your choise anyway.

I never use savestates so its good lmao.
I hope the networking tab wont be cluttered and filled with too many options for users it could be confusing so maybe think removing options that you think are unused? (I never used the timeout option for example).
Your choise anyway.

It's a common sense in general "if you don't know what it is, you should leave it alone" LOL

Just like settings in GPU/Graphics, there are things that are not supposed to be changed most of the time, trying to change them may result in unexpected result/glitches on some games without even realizing it.

And these kinda settings are there for power users who knows what they're doing, so common users should just leave it as default.

RE: PPSSPP supports more games with ad-hoc now
I feel bad that the networking settings are not for the normal users but I guess they could just use something like Amultios instead.
Like the default options does not give you a way to play neither online or locally with others unless you read or watch a tutorial.
Such a shame.
I will add this video tutorial to the main post https://youtu.be/Kvrf9bYJHC8 its very detailed and show almost all options.

RE: PPSSPP supports more games with ad-hoc now
Btw is it just me or Fate Unlimited Codes is running really slow when doing versus fight between Saber vs Archer?
I only gets about 15 FPS on both Vs CPU (single player) and Vs 2P (multiplayer), so i wonder if it's just me/my laptop or others also experiencing this slowness.
I've tried downloading several version of PPSSPP from orphis but all of them have this slowness Sad i also wonder if this slowness caused by the recent Win10 update.

PS: I thinks GTA VCS also experiencing this slowness, at least on my laptop
