This is what I am looking at

No it's the issue with upscaling the game. that textbox only looks normal in 1x scale.

Never mind I was an idiot. 1x scale did fix it, apparently. Is this just how its supposed to be, then?

Yeah those red and black stripes are not textures, but UI elements that are drawn by the engine. Not sure if there's much to be done about it, really.

It's not so bad at about 3x, but the higher you go the more see-through it feels.
