Exact Audio Copy (EAC) PSP Edition?
The Grand Theft Auto games have an option to add custom music tracks to the game. However, the files must be in Sony's own proprietary audio format, Atrac3, which apparently there is only a single program ever developed that will directly convert MP3 files to this format;

Exact Audio Copy - PSP Edition

Naturally, this program has been completely erased from every corner of the net. All the links claiming to download it either lead to a long gone website or to the home page of EAC, which does not support this format.

There's a copy supplied by Rockstar, but that saves to an actual PSP and I want to just convert the files directly so that I can put them in the emulated copy.

Does anyone have a copy of this program or know where I can find it?

It was made by codemasters, links no longer work, but it was uploaded here. Download through the button on the bottom, if it errors about busy servers, try in few minutes.

Thank you for the link. Smile

I couldn't get it to process MP3 files (it gave me a divide by zero error), but creating a disc image, mounting that in a virtual drive and ripping the songs from that worked.

I noticed that they play at a lower volume than the in-game radio stations though.

It's too bad that they didn't just add the custom track option as another station on the radio selection, so that you don't have to choose one or the other. Of course then you wouldn't be able to switch songs, but you can't do that with the radio stations either.

Anyway, thanks again.

Thank you so much Rekrul and the Lunamoo for the amazing info and idea. I don't even know about that we can play music in GTA 5 just similar to adding music in roblox games (that i always do while playing game) i randomly heard about this that we can add music to custom music in GTA 5 and then i just want to do it anyway. I just got GTA 5 in epic games sale and now i desperately want to play my own songs in it. Thanks for helping me.
