RE: How to take screenshots
You don't need to post the same thing twice.

RE: How to take screenshots
I thought something went wrong because my post didn't appear. I've read the note about an approval step too late.

RE: How to take screenshots
Rule number one, people doesn't sit around the forums 24/7 outside of a bunch of spammers with no life, so you might need to wait for answer. Ie me, this week I work even in the weekend and only visited for a moment to relax, might return in another week, that's just life.

Rule number two, you want some help from others, always try to help yourself first by searching for similar threads and if it's unique to you, definitely try to help others to understand your issue. So write exactly what are you doing and how it fails, if you feel like nobody can help you, it's usually because your problem is unique to your system and you didn't provided any information other people could even guess what's happening outside of stating it doesn't work.

In case of things like screenshots, your operating system, PPSSPP version or even game's you're trying to capture might matter a lot, PPSSPP also is very verbose by default and prints info when taking screenshots. For example some operating systems like "linux" are soo terribly fragmented that there might be distributions of it where PPSSPP never worked at all and nobody knows or cares about it. There are also some windows 10 users that are participating in beta program whatever it was called and run unstable windows versions expecting other software devs to fix things for them, forgetting that they're actually testers for microsoft and that's where their system specific bugs should be solved. Some 3rd party software can also affect PPSSPP negatively primary things like shader injectors and software which add's their own overlay on top of everything else. What users assume it's safe based on it's popularity doesn't always work in a safe way, so commonly system specific problems are caused by other software user is abusing. Then there's also operating system user proviledges, most/all modern operating systems remove a lot of power from typical user and require elevated priviledges to do certain things, like writing to some directory. Some software in some operating systems(iOS for example) can change required priviledges to some folders while browsing or doing something with them, so for example PPSSPP knows it can write to it's memstick, so it assume the same for all subfolders, but then it can't due to some awful 3rd party software used. Then there's also gpu drivers, some backends might be supported on your hardware like vulkan on many mobiles, but also be very broken due to awful drivers and unexpected bugs can happen easily at least in some games. There's probably a lot more things that could matter, but that's just to give you general idea that nobody has any clue what's your situation actually is from your posts above and the answer might as well be "it's just you" ~ which isn't particulary helpful.

RE: How to take screenshots
Edit:

Okay, I'm a bit confused now. First at all it works now. I downloaded the latest version again startet it and noticed that there are key mappings which my other version didn't have.

Thats how the new version looks like:

And thats how the old version looks like:

Since there is no "Screenshot" key in my old settings I thought the "Screen" key is the one I need. No wonder it didn't work.

However why does my old version miss this key?

On LibreElec removing the Systems folder did the trick. But on windows even this doesn't help. Very confusing.

RE: How to take screenshots
Screenshot was not remappable in older versions. Normally it's hardcoded to F12 like on steam.

Screen key (and some others) doesn't do anything in official PPSSPP, it exists because it did on PSP and some homebrew and cheats can use it.
