Help! Problem with sound
I bought the gold version because I like to support development but the sound is very choppy and cracking up I'm using a Motorola Moto z force phone so I know my device is capable of running PPSSPP but I don't know if my settings can be changed. Any way someone can help?

RE: Help! Problem with sound
Odd. The Z force should be able to play most if not all PSP games well. Which game(s) are you playing? Maybe you have the rendering resolution set a little too high? Try something like 3x or 2x instead.

RE: Help! Problem with sound
Android devices, especially high powered ones have very aggressive power saving and throttle to avoid high battery drain, so it's actually common for them to not be fast enough to emulate PSP even if they could be with their specs. PPSSPP cannot do anything about it since it's completely managed by OS, through we do have sustained performance mode option somewhere for android mobiles which support that and it can give better results in some cases, sometimes changing some options to make PPSSPP more demanding on the cpu side like "Force real clock sync" can in some cases also force higher clocks, but it might just as well do nothing about the problem.

Either way games have to run at 100% speed for the sound to be nice and smooth, if the device can't handle that, doesn't matter if it's hardware limitation or operating system power management fault, you can try some speedhacks(which might and commonly will break or glitch games) or frameskipping. Frameskipping is also required when running 60fps games on mobiles with refresh rate below 60Hz due to android forced vsync, hopefully 60fps games are very rare.
