It will depend highly on what you are running the game on.

This guide is ok for explaining quite a bit about the emulator, but it is getting more and more ancient every release (it was made in 2013\2014 and was pre 1.0), but it is as new as we have right now. (Maybe I will work on a more up to date one if I get enough time).
