SONIC RIVALS control problem

Question SONIC RIVALS control problem
In 1.7.0 and 1.7.1
Characters can't jump as high as usual for unknown reason, that makes the game much harder to play and can easily stuck in some levels.
Dpad is not working, characters won't start running if you press Dpad.

These problems happen on SONIC RIVALS and SONIC RIVALS 2
and does not exist in older version...
(I already tried 1.5.0, and it works fine.)

I don't know whether these problems have happened on other games.

PC: Win10 64-bit

Sorry if there are a lot of grammatical errors, my English is not very well...
(I'm a Taiwanese.)

RE: SONIC RIVALS control problem
Try using the latest dev build from https://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php?m=fulllist
1.7(.1) have some slight issues with controller registration, and was later fixed in these dev builds.
Also, make sure Steam isn't running in the background. Steam has full controller support by default, making your controller buttons and analogs work like your computer mouse. It is known to conflict with programs like PPSSPP.

Come and join the official PPSSPP Discord server:

RE: SONIC RIVALS control problem
Thank you but I already tried it, problems still exist.
(I also tried close everything in the background, including Steam.)
Dpad still not working
and about the jumping...
RIVALS: Still can't jump high.
RIVALS 2: Characters now automatically using homing attack...still can't jump high.

These problems also in current android version of PPSSPP.

RE: SONIC RIVALS control problem
I can concurr this issue. I'd also like to point out that the issue is brought up and is stated in the Android release, but the problem still persists. I only tried it on Android, Razer Phone, Sonic Rivals 2, but I did notice it on PC as well. You can't jump high enough. You jump about half as high as normal, and you basically can't progress some areas without doing some sort of ultimate or trick.
