Windows 10 Build 1803 + PPSSPP v1.5.4 has stopped working
Hi, I have been using PPSSPP v1.5.4 for few months now, and everything worked great so far.

I have recently (few days) updated my Windows 10 Pro to the latest OS build 17134.48 - Version 1803 and now, when I execute the PPSSPP exe file (both 32 and 64 bit versions) I get a black screen for few seconds and back to the desktop.

I am absolutely sure I didn't change any major OS setting or updated any relevant driver since the last working execution.

What could be causing this problem? Is it a known issue?

Welcome to Windows 10....

I had to install latest drivers for my video card, because after update the installed driver kept hanging.
W10 is great OS, but holy shit it has so much problems with compatibility and anything that is more than "HURRRR I WANNA BROWZ INTURNUT".
I suggest you try looking at stuff that could be lost.

Also. What renderer you were using previously?

I have been using 1803 for weeks now, and I haven't run into this issue.

Thats the beauty of this.

There are as many glitches/problems/issues as many there are PC builds.
Thank Gog that you have not run into any issues... Yet.

RE: Windows 10 Build 1803 + PPSSPP v1.5.4 has stopped working
Ok, I just noticed that my VGA (AMD) drivers were downgraded (to version 17.1!!) during the windows update, therefore PPSSPP was not working anymore. I just updated the drivers now to the latest version and everything works correctly.

Advice to everyone - If you notice weird behaviours or issues after your windows 10 update, please re-update all your drivers.

Damn Windows!

Thanks for the support everyone.
