Using controller combos as functions (e.g. quit emulator)
I've started to use PPSSPP as emulator from attract mode front end in Windows. With my other emulators I can quit the game using select + start on my xbox controller. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it with PPSSPP. Does anybody know if it's possible?

Thanks! Big Grin

Just map pause button;p, I think it's even mapped by default on gamepads, but forgot what was the default key for it;p. When running ppsspp from frontend you might also add "--escape-exit" to commandline in which case pressing pause button will leave ppsspp completely.

Thank you for advice. I have already added the --escape-exit parameter and configured the Xbox home button to quit out. It's just a small thing but every other emulator allows me to use the combination of "Select + Start" to quit out and I wanted PPSSPP to do the same thing.

RE: Using controller combos as functions (e.g. quit emulator)
Typical gamepad has more buttons than psp had so it was never necessary, plus dealing with it within existing gui might be bothersome, it could need a separate mapping screen or an optional setting which changes behaviour of multiply mappings to work as combos.
In short PPSSPP doesn't support mapping key combinations(outside of touch screen but even that is very limited).
