Question Properly installing a good CFW?
Hello. I have looked upon the PPSSPP website, and seen the instructions at http://www.ppsspp.org/faq.html, but I am having great difficulty finding a intact and reliable CFW download that is compatible with my PSP device. Googling didn’t help much either.

The PSP is a PSP3003, and the system version is 6.60.

Can someone inform me of a reliable and safe CFW download, that is compatible with my PSP version? Installation instructions would also be appreciated

RE: Properly installing a good CFW?
I installed CFW so long ago on mine that I have no idea what I used, sorry... Hopefully someone else still keeps up with the CFW scene, and let us know if you do find out which is the best now Smile

RE: Properly installing a good CFW?
There are three things you can do:
- update to 6.61 and try infinity hack then install cfw on top of it,
- update to 6.61 and install temporary cfw on top of it,
- keep 6.60 and install temporary cfw on top of it.

For PPSSPP use and minimal amount of work I would recommend the last one:
- get PRO-C fix 3(since as noted there with latest C2 you can forget about psone games),
- extract only PROUPDATE and FastRecovery into your PSP\GAME folder,
- make sure your battery is full just in case and run PROUPDATE following instructions, but I think they were limited to "press any key" or something alike took few moments so I don't remember exactlyTongue,
- from now on just run FastRecovery every time you completely reboot your PSP and want to reactivate CFW, in practice it will still be somewhat permanent as most people never turn off their PSP completely.

Quickest way to test whenever you have CFW active or not will be by pressing select.:]

Yeah, if you don't trust the person that uploaded it, you can just use direct download from wololo.net in here, but as far as I know it has same files just one uses zip, another rar compression;p.
