Select button on gamepad not working properly

Does anyone know how to get the Select button to map on a gamepad on Android? I bind it to my gamepad but it comes up as 'built-in.Back' so when I press it it brings up the menu instead.

Does anyone know how to disable the menu? I remember on older versions (can't remember which) you could map the select button and it never had this problem.
