RE: Tekken 6
EUR / 0.8.1-907 / Win7 / CSO / Ati 4870 (13.1) / Phenom 2 X4 955

I have to report a speedboost with this revision. I played t6 yesterday on 0.8.1-802 and had about 37-40 fps with the standard settigns like "Hardware Transform" turned on. To get more speed i had to turn it off. That was also not enjoyable but better.

with this revision i have mostly over 85 % (even 100 on some stages), just tested a few stages with HW Transform on. If i turn it off, i get a perfomance impact, opposite effect like 802. Then it runs like 802 revision but slightly faster i think. Need more testing.

Still stutters very noticeable the first punches and here and there.

CPU - AMD Phenom X4 955 BE 3,2 (Stock)
GPU - ATi XFX 4870 1 GB (11.11a)
RAM - 8 GB DDR3-1333
O S - Win7x64

Now very playable on android (8.1-907) with frameskip 1 or 2. Significant boost on speed. I love it. Thanks devs.

Can Confirm that with this revision its now running at fullspeed all the way the 7 stages in arcade mode i tested, only the usual first punch/kick stutter and a little here stutter with sound. Feels awesome now to play. Amazing work/progress!

Downloaded the latest update then noticed that the HIT EFFECTS are gone. Tried playing around with the settings but nothing happens.

On Android right?

Go back to v0.8.1-1029-g51596b6.

Latest builds have ARMJIT issues that affect a lot of games for ARM devices using Android/iOS/etc

Hi;

First message here. Great emulator! Just one question, is there ANY chance the crazy leg flickering on Tekken 6 can be fixed? Otherwise the game is just about perfect, but this issue kinda drives me nuts!

Thanks and best wishes!

It can be fixed, but don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Issues are fixed when they're fixed. Everything happens on its own timetable. Especially when it's not an urgent issue. (e.g. Game crashes, hangs, or broken)

I take it you mean on Android this happens, as on Windows 7 (x86), not one flicker.......as smooth as silk each & every-time.

RE: Tekken 6
Hi;

Thank you both for your replies. Actually, I'm getting the crazy leg flickering on my Windows 7 machine, perhaps I'm using the wrong config? I've tried messing around with a few different things, but nothing seems to make much difference. Any ideas?

And thanks again!

Btw, I'm using an i5-3570k processor, a Geforce GTX 660 graphics card, 8 GB ram, and Windows 7 Ultimate if that helps at all.

Hmm... scratch that. I get this issue too, and I'm using an AMD/ATI card. Was about to suggest that the problem only occurs on AMD/ATI cards like the other issues in the game, but apparently Dudebro also has a NVIDIA card.

The Phoenix;

I tried those to the letter, but still have the same issue. I guess I'll have to be patient and wait till the issue is hopefully resolved! Thanks!

Perhaps it'd be easier to show him what it looks like (the leg flickering) via a Youtube video capture of the game.

I'd do it myself, but the game runs sub-optimally for my system as it is, and requires Frameskipping = 1 for 100% Speed on my rig.
