In addition to the FB effects, I think they upped the polygon count for the characters in Tekken 6 as compared to Tekken DR.

Character models definitely got a slight boost, especially in the fingers (count 'em, you can actually see all 5 digits properly rendered) and facial department, which is a step up from Tekken DR's faces.

Very, very noticeable on the women. (e.g. Julia and Asuka look quite a bit more prettier in T6 as compared to T: DR, imo of course.)

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

With my new CPU (AMD Athlon II X4 640 3,00GHz) Tekken 6 runs at 60 FPS... Guys, does game freeze for you for about 1 second on beginning of fight? Game works fine for me, except those freezes.

PC Specs:

GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 (Sapphire Vapor-X)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.9GHz (OC)
RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz

Tnx sfaegas. Wink Also tnx for answering my question. Smile
P.S. God of War Ghost of Sparta also works 60 VPS, even with Buffered Rendering enabled. Smile Also some slowdowns, but everyone have that too.

Wow, that's nice to hear. Which revision are you using? And what's your GPU?

I still can't get a perfect 60 on this game. It only goes up as high as 50+ with HT off. HT on causes some stutters and worse frame drops.

Good to know you can get GoW to run at 60 VPS also, your settings would be nice to have, it really crawls on my PC. Given that PPSSPP is still single threaded, your Quad shouldn't really be making a difference unless you've overclocked it. The intro screens (the one with Kratos's head filling up the screen) are the worse offenders.

Well, i have 60 VPS, but not very stable.. Seems that game have some framedrops.. Same on JPCSP... I have HT on, so as u say, maybe that's why i or u have framedrops..
My settings are default one, except i have fast memory enabled, and also show VPS option (everyone have it enabled, probably).. That's all.. I will try with HT off now... I almost forgot, i'm using ppsspp-v0.7.6-279-g69e168a-windows-x86..
And my GPU is NVIDIA GeForce XFX GT 240 512MB GDDR5 (stock).. Also CPU is stock, means it's not overclocked. Smile
I got it today.

PC's can't maintain a consistent 60 fps all the time yet in this game. Don't expect Android devices with weaker CPUs to run it at full speed for the time being. More optimization to be done for this game.

Only thing you can do is to turn on frameskip, and fast mem.
