RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
Apparently this game should be running at 60 fps according to the HUD CFW plugin... hmm but it seems to say that always...

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
There is some funny bug with this game and the problem is maybe 0.8.1.507
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/commi...96abb01fbc

Works fine on 506(can't test 507)but on 511(and anything newer),when you start the game you are greet with Vayne asking you "Who are you"

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

Batch iso <=> cso converter

Try it on an actual PSP. I thought it did that there too. Always have thought it was weird.

It does indeed always do it on a psp. oddly enough. it asks it twice on a normal psp. on the vita. it does it once.

another bug i've noticed with the game is sometimes the sprites will glitch out and take a moment to catch up(as if the game isn't updating the 2d as fast as the game needs it to).

Also there is a strange audio issue, in battle everytime it loads an animate, the audio completely stops for a second. Not sure if this is due to the load of the game or what

I have a bug to report. In battle, Nikki's hammer looks weird every now and then (especially after using a skill where she attacks with it). Btw, I am running it on the Pandora console.

Oh, another bug I forgot to report is that the background is missing when a skit is going on and also when displaying the "Victory" screen.

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
Background works for me in latest git build, with frameskip off.

By her hammer, do you mean where it looks like several Nikkis for a few frames?

Turns out the FPS should be 20, so it's correct. Which is unfortunate. I also know how to fix it, increase the 32-bit value at 0881C238 by 2. It will run at 60 fps. Probably a cheatcode could be written for that, but it should only be increased by 2 once.

In PPSSPP, you also have to clear the jit before and after by setting a breakpoint there. An easier way would to right click that address and select "Assemble Opcode" -> "jal zz_sceCtrlPeekBufferPositive".

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
The problem with missing backgrounds still happens for me on v0.9.1-1478 windows x64 though it's far more uncommon than it once was. Also if you press escape or toggle full screen on/off wile in the menu or during a skit the background will also be missing afterword.

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
Yes, it resets all framebuffers (to resize them) when you do that and the game doesn't expect that to happen, so it will not work unfortunately.

Yes, what you wrote regarding the hammer is what I'm seeing. A similar bug also occurs to other characters (where the graphics of the character get jumbled).

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
Odd bug, for lack of a better term.

Format: ISO
Region: US
Version: PPSSPP v0.9.1 windows 64
My OS: Windows 7 64 bit
  • Sound effects are fine.
  • No Music
  • Spoken dialogue is fine.

Format: ISO
Region: US
Version: PPSSPP v0.9.5 Windows 32 & 64 bit
My OS: Windows 7 64 bit
  • Sounds effects are fine.
  • Music is fine.
  • Spoken dialogue sounds like it's underwater.

Other posts here say it's fully playable now, is there some setting on my end I don't know about?

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance + Videos
0.9.1 is using external audio plugin and if you don't have it,you won't have music.
0.9.5 don't need the external audio plugin but that feature is still new so problems can be expected
