Xinput1_4.dll missing message
PPSSPP is now telling me that I am missing the xinput1_4.dll when I turn it on but it still continues to play. Controller functionality seems to still run fine. If I download a random one from the net, another item missing message pops up. Which runtimes do I need to update if that is the solution?

RE: Xinput1_4.dll missing message
BUMP.
downloaded xinput1_4.dll and then it asks for api-ms-win-eventing-classic provider-l1-1-0.dll. Then the problem is gone. But I'm on windows 7 ultimate. So something in this program is trying to reference the wrong thing.

Can a dev please fix this problem?

RE: Xinput1_4.dll missing message
Ever wondered why you're alone in this thread?
~ Maybe because no one else had such issue.;p

The behaviour you're describing simply can't happen in ppsspp, it's open source so you can easily check:]. PPSSPP checks for 1.4(requires win 8+ or win 8 SDK), then 1.3(requires DirectX June 2010 SDK) and when it still fails it returns a warning in the log console never printing any windows message about missing xinput 1_4 or anything like that;].

Which could mean you're using some unofficial ppsspp build or some third party dll loaders like shader injectors, gamepad driver or simply have some malware which might depend on it.
