rendering resolution to 4x or higher

also postprocessing shader try FXAA

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

RE: Pixelated Textures Beyond V0.9.8 (Windows)
First of all, we keep 1 thread per game on this forum which for this game is here.

Now for the problem - you can just disable "Simulate block transfer effects" in graphics settings. This will remove cel-shading effect from this game as the "low res" is nothing, but a side effect of how this effect works. To explain it a bit simpler - this game takes a "screenshot" of everything in 480x272, cuts out characters from it, add's those black borders around them, then pastes that modified low res image on top of the initial render.

I would agree the effect is ugly and it's nice that it's easy to disable via settings, but the ancient ppsspp versions that "looked better" by default were actually wrong.
