I'm playing a game and the message appears try frameskip , sound is choppy when slow

what is frameskip how i can use frameskip ?

well if it works in 1.3 without problem why you guys using 1.4?
either way i dont know why it happens or how to fix it

i suppose is a bug,that the message appear each time that you open th emulator and charge a game but after this if you charge other games after this time never more appear.

only appear each first time that open the emulator and charge a game.

and never have more slow speed and nothing probably is a bug that cause this message appear.

Change "Show FPS Counter" in settings to "Both", and then restart PPSSPP. Take a screenshot showing:

* The speed % at 100%.
* The message showing that you're running slow.

If you cannot take such a screenshot, it's not a bug. The message shows when you've been below 100% consistently for the last 15 seconds.

It can mean that you're running the game from slow storage, or you have texture scaling on, and you've had 15 seconds of lag, but then things recovered. But it shows when you have 15 seconds of performance issues, simple as that.
