PPSSPP 1.4 lagging all game PC Android
After I upgraded to PPSSPP 1.4 from 1.3, I get lag on every game both PC and Android.

I think it because the Texture speedhack option gone on 1.4 ?

On PC version, I set the Backend to DirectX 11 and it all went smooth, but still a bit stutter. But Android version don't have DirectX option. I think reverting to 1.3 will fix for now. Just saying so maybe you guys can fix it on 1.5 Big Grin

PC Spec
> Intel Core i5 6400 @ 2.7GHz
> Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5
> 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4
> Windows 10 64 bit, plays PPSSPP Windows 64

Android Spec
> Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X 3GB RAM
> Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625
> Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53
> Adreno 506
> Android 6

Game Played (Both PC and Android)
> Harvest Moon Boy and Girl (Lags on farm)
> Persona 3 (20 fps on dungeon and fight scene)
> Trails in the Sky SC (Bugged when Pause and entering place, lagged / long black screen when entering place)

Looking forward for new version for the fix !

RE: PPSSPP 1.4 lagging all game PC Android
No. The texture coord speedhack wasn't disabled, it was considered safe and there was no need for it to be optional.
The only speedhack which was removed, but that's if I recall not affecting 1.4 yet, was the one removing alpha test since that one was a complete BS causing far too many issues to ever be worth and was abused by people who can't even read warning messages and reported issues caused by it.

Not going to check all games, but as far as I can tell this HM game is extremely light even on farm, if you have performance problems with it on your pc, I can only guess you're abusing some extremely heavy texture scaling like hybrid+bicubic or/and using max rendering res with some very demanding post process effects.
Most likely scaling as you definitely use it on that screenshot and that feature between versions sometimes affects more or less textures, despite all limitations that cause ppsspp to not scale some textures at all, that feature also loves to prove that real time texture scaling is something even modern pc's can't handle well enough to just activate and forget about it.
