7 free PC games #notabot
Ubisoft is giving away 7 free pc games until 12/18/2016

Prince of Persia sands of time
Splinter Cell (the original one)
Beyond good and evil
Rayman origins
The Crew
Far Cry Blood Dragon
Assassin's Creed 3

You do need a uPlay account and you need to agree that if you are under age you won't download and play the mature games without parents permission (dead serious about that one...)

You will also need a PC with the uPlay client too, but free is free.

RE: 7 free PC games #notabot
It is a client system like gog or steam and the games are added to your library. I am assuming multiple installs but to be honest I have never used their service before so I don't know. I just figured since I found out about it randomly and it expires soon I would let others who probably would have no other normal way of finding out know.

To be fair though even if it was a 1 time install you could never use again if you reinstall your system then I would never buy anything through them but free is still free. Free is always a good deal in my opinion.

RE: 7 free PC games #notabot
i dont question the fact its free i question method with which we are provided to use it

i dont like this games but if someone like them that would be good deal

for me it would be good deal only if i was able to download it and store it on something so i can play it one day

and im pretty sure ubisoft is not giving something for free not expecting some benefit from it so i think it will be like if u wanna play install their game launcher and u can only re-download if u have game on ur library but that for me just breaks it cause if i can store it on 2nd HDD and reinstal windows on 1st HDD then downloading it again just to play few hours well i dont think its worth it + i wonder how game saves are stored in game folder or system folder which would make u lose saves anyway

but you are dam right free is free no 1 should cry about it

RE: 7 free PC games #notabot
It seems to be a very minimalist game store for ubisoft, but yes you need their store/launcher much like steam or origin. I still haven't tried the multiple installations.

Ubisoft was giving away the games as part of a Christmas promo, so probably kinda like gog does it was just a way to get free press about their store service, get people to download their launcher, and if you like it maybe you will buy your next digital download from them instead. (Though to be fair gog is much better and even steam with it's annoying store to navigate is better)

As far as saves go I have only tried beyond good and evil and it is saving in the same place as it would if it was on disk or from gog.

Btw the offer is over some time tonight since it only goes through 12/18
