Monster Hunter FU and CWCheats
I want to install CWCheats so i can fix my "use the memory card you used to start this game" problem.

I tried installing CWCheats but got stuck.

http:/ /www pspcwcode com/2014/07/cwcheat-v023.html

"Now leave USB mode, and press select on the PSP and do -> Reset VSH."
Apparently that's a thing i need to do for it to work, and i don't know how to "leave USB mode".

RE: Monster Hunter FU and CWCheats
CWC isn't just name of a plugin, but also general name for the cheat format proposed by that plugin which ended up most popular on psp. You can't run the plugin on the emulator, but it's also not needed as we have our own cheat engine built-in which happens to support that format.

Follow this guide how to use cwcheats with PPSSPP, just note that if you're using it on non-mobile platforms you don't have to manually search for the ini file to edit, it can be opened automatically by your system basic text editor using an option within cheat menu, which besides pause menu in latest versions can also be entered from game screen(the one accessible by triangle/right click/hold the game icon on the list) the guide is just slightly outdated and doesn't mention newer additions.

That's exactly the guide i used to try to use CwCheat, but the cheat code didn't seem to work.

Either that or i don't know what the cheat is exactly going to do to make me able to save again.

RE: Monster Hunter FU and CWCheats
If you mean the "synchronize save" cheat made by me, just activating it allows saving progress from save state over any in-game save.
When it doesn't work, you either activated [disable] cheat(which as the name suggests disables the cheat;p), didn't activated the cheat at all and just enabled cheats in system settings(which is NOT how cwcheats are activated, that merely starts cheat engine and add's cheat menu where you have to "tick" a cheat on the list to activate it), or for whatever reason deleted your normal in-game save in which case you will have to start a new game just to get any save as that cheat allows synchronizing wrong savedata together, but it has to exist in the first place.

If you didn't messed your savedata and don't have too much of a progress on a savestate, you might as well ignore workarounds and just continue from normal in-game save having a lesson for the future to avoid time travel aka loading savestates made before last normal in-game saves as some games just dosn't like it.

The name of the cheat i downloaded is "Synchronize save [disable]", i thought it was the normal one because it was the only one i could find in the thread i was reading.

I have a lot of progress on savestate, i just upgraded my Snow Gunlance to mk2.

My game is the EU version, can you give me the link for your cheat?

RE: Monster Hunter FU and CWCheats
It's here, so just use this:
Code:
_C0 Synchronize save
_L 0x200C055C 0x00C31821
_L 0x200C0560 0x8C65A0E0
_L 0x200C0578 0x8C64A0E4

[Disable] codes are added to cheats that can't be disabled without restarting the game/emulation, they aren't doing anything except restoring original game code.

It worked! Thank you.
