If you still need the PAUTH files, you'll have to dump them from your copy of the game on a real PSP, or find them otherwise on your own. So please don't link to them anymore in this thread.

Aww, I came here late. Now I won't be able to play this game. :'<

By the way, my problem is the same. I can go to the character creation and after it plays the cutscene, it crashes.

Start the game and PPSSPP crashes every time. I've tweaked all possible settings (most games have glitchy audio but I play anyway) and nothing changes.
Not sure where to get any kind of logs to post. I load game and it crashes...

Merged.
I sincerely apologize. I thought I had already searched this forum for MH3. On another note, damn this was hard to find after it was merged -.- I'll give it a shot, @LunaMoo, thanks!

You can find your posts and threads very easily by clicking on your profile and then you will find two links : "Find All Threads" and "Find All Posts" Smile

I tried both but they kept coming up with "Post does not exist." I had to go with the only info I had which was from my email saying @LunaMoo replied, then went to their page, searched through their posts til I found mine, got here, then found out it was merged here from the original.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Title: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Genre: Action-rpg (?)
Region: JP
Format: ISO
Version: v 5.0 English patch, keep in mind I have this same problem with a regular version as well.

OS: Windows 7 and 8 (same results on my desktop and laptop)
Compatibility: Refuses to boot at and crashes PPSSPP in the process. I actually managed to get this to work the first time after I installed this emulator. When I attempted to run it again all I get was the following log.

Code:

@ Kenneth39 :
I think it's because you haven't decrypt the PAUTH files.
LunaMoo is speaking about that in this post, for example Smile

No, because this is called piracy, you have to use the .iso file dumped from your UMD.

Team Maverick's is much more complete. They picked up where HGG left off, unless HGG made a return recently, or something?
