Did you copy over the FF4 system save file also? I got the same problem until I did that because the game doesn't create a system save until you start a new game and save for the first time.

Fixed mine too, just needed to disable Atrac3+ plugin (which the new version merged) for it to work. Thanks for your help solarmystic :-)

Here's what I do :
*let's say u r using version 0.9.5

-download the build v0.9.1-1965-g027ba31
-extract it somewhere
-play the game (FF IV) from 0.9.1 version
-Just play a new game
-exit
-Copy folder SAVEDATA from ..\ppsspp\memstick\PSP from your 0.9.5 version
-paste to 0.9.1 version (replace) in the same folder
-play 0.9.1 version, then u can load the game
-after crash, save the game just outside dwarf castle
-exit
-now move the SAVEDATA again from 0.9.1 to 0.9.5
-solved...
Big Grin
basically, we are using old version only to get past the freeze part., Big Grin

RE: Final Fantasy IV Complete
I have a new question, regarding FFIV.

I was reading and didn't realize that PSP had two screens and the touchscreen feature. Never played a real one before. Just wanted to play my FFIV again.

Either way, upon reading, I discovered that the map for FFIV Complete is displayed on the second screen of the PSP.

Is there anyway to get PPSPP to display the map or do I have to find a real PSP? Wink

I think that I misread. Either way, I can't get the map for FFIV to popup and have to use internet maps for the game. Anyway to get the map in PPSPP?

I'm on the latest android build.

How do you get rid of the green lines around the characters and doors?

I think he's referin to vita... ie, back touch panel, although neither have two screens lol, and the fact that vita has a touchscreen.

RE: Final Fantasy IV Complete
Really, I tried to edit that, so that I didn't look quite so ignorant, but the edit never took, I guess.

Either way, there is a white magic spell called sight that gives you access to the map. I don't remember that in the SNES version. I thought it was start and select, and then PSP version you have to use the spell.

Se la ve.

I seem to have broken it again. I finally got into underworld and then Cid says he's gonna break through the fight, says the ship is going down and then I get static, like an old television set without an antenna. And that was where everything froze. Sad

Lemme see if I can get it to do it again with the logging on...

For what it's worth, I'm using 0.9.1 x86 on an AMD Phenom II triple core, win 7 64-bit.

Here's the log file. I'll try this on 0.9.5 and see if the same thing happens again:

for anyone who get Crash and burn and static when arrived in underworld : http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...7#pid58297

then, there'll be a problem when Golbez is about to summon the Shadow (black dragon). To get around this, simply use the 32-bit version., Big Grin

P.S. sorry for the bad english T^T

I tried to take a screenshot of the static, but it came out blank. What you have there on the second screenshot is exactly what I get.

US version as well. 0.9.5 32/64-bit both do it.

DVendy, I already tried 32-bit and it does the same thing on either 32-bit or 64-bit version. Sad Fight, broken cutscene, broken game.

I was having this issue as well, and disabling sound before the dragon shows up made it work. As soon as the dragon is there I was able to turn the sound back on and continue playing. This was on the 32 bit version.
