PPSSPP isn't creating an .ini file in the Cheats folder
I'm a newb here, so sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong place, or has been adressed before, but I couldn't find anything using the search function.

I'm currently using PPSSPP v1.2.2 on Android, on my Huawei P8 Lite.
I wanted to get some cheats for Persona 3 Portable, following the exact instructions from another thread on this forum, but the emulator never creates an .ini file in the Cheats folder.
When I try to make the .ini file manually and name it accordingly (ULUS10512) and paste the cheat codes in it, they don't show up in the cheats menu inside the emulator while playing.

RE: PPSSPP isn't creating an .ini file in the Cheats folder
Nevermind, I managed to get the cheats working by putting the cheats.db file in the folder and using the import option.

I'm still not seeing any .ini files. Is that normal?

RE: PPSSPP isn't creating an .ini file in the Cheats folder
No it's not normal, in fact it doesn't make much sense, if the import worked it would create ini file, otherwise it could not show any cheats aka not work at all.

Maybe your system or file browser you used just hides ini files and the one you created manually had a typo in the name or double extension?(That's potentially common mistake on windows due to it hiding known extensions by default.)
