I don’t say I love it, but I love the idea! Hope we can play some commercial games soon… I doubt it, but I still have hopes!

I was an Xperia Play gamer until my dog ate my beloved phone!

Now I’m an Xperia ZL/ZQ gamer!
Quad-Core 1.5 GHZ

It works better, but i miss the gamepad!! T_T'

Actually it's started to boot some games, but can't go beyond menu because lack of virtual input.

Here are some screen shots.

RE: Play! (PS2 emulator) android build boots homebrew!
i would say a x1 could do ps2 just fine maybe ask the guys at pcsx2 it port to that when its out. the x1 is pretty much the same power as a mid range gaming pc more then enough to emulate ps2. also note ps2 is very cpu heavy not very gpu heavy.

Just a few days! Look at the compatibility list on their project wiki! New games tested/working every day! The Android port is not too far behind the Windows or Mac ports, and the Windows/Mac ports are equally updated so there's never leaving Mac behind like a lot of emulators do, and only focusing on Windows/Linux. Big Grin

Play! is slowly becoming the PPSSPP of PS2 emulators, especially since they want to target Linux and iOS at some point. Smile

This is just amazing!! Final fantasy X is the first PS2 game I want to emulate on android! Even with the slow downs, pretty impressive progress! It’s possible I start playing this games sooner than I expected!

RE: Play! (PS2 emulator) android build boots homebrew!
Yeah, I tried FFX on my PC and got 20 FPS (on PCSX2 I run with no problem), but is a really good progress. There's graphic and sound issues, though. I see a great future as I saw in PPSSPP years ago.
