GO Explore - UCES00886
Title: GO Explore
Genre: GPS Navigation
Game ID: UCES00886
Region: EU
Format: ISO
Version: v1.0 (64 Bit)
OS: Windows 7 (64 Bit)
Compatibility: black screen
Notes:
  • Goes right to a black screen and then back to the emulator's game selection screen. No intro or anything like that.
  • Tested on HP i5 1.33GHz, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5450
  • For those interested: this is an actual navigation software like the ones sold for cars. It came with a GPS antenna that would plug into the PSP's USB port. Maps were stored on the UMD with more downloadable via PSN (never tried that). Feautured 3D views of maps. Getting this to run would be a rather low priority even though it's not as complex as some games, at least graphics-wise.

Haha, yes, I actually even used it when going on tours, both in the car and on foot. It took a while for the GPS antenna to find a signal and it only worked when there was no obstruction above (roofs, etc.).

But it quickly became obsolete when smartphones came along since they were faster and had better GPS reception...
