RE: Ads in android version
That's kind of the point of non paid versions in a lot of apps.

RE: Ads in android version
You're asking, in the very forum hosted by the developer who put the ads in there, if you can remove that source of income without paying.

Kinda bold there, ain't ya?

RE: Ads in android version
Stop bashing the guy;p it doesn't help anyone, most people hate ads, likely including at least a bunch ppsspp devs.

@guicrith I don't really play on android, but as far as I remember from similar thread in the previous version, there was 1 ad, displayed only at first run in the release builds. So if you don't want ads, exit ppsspp completely, run it again and it should ad-free. You can also get ad-free apk from buildbot.

RE: Ads in android version
It should only show one ad, ever, unless you completely delete the settings file I think (don't quote me on that, I didn't write the ad code. I think it's stored in the ini file if it displayed the ad or not), assuming that you got it from http://ppsspp.org , and not from somewhere else. PPSSPP is pretty ad-free compared to most free apps. Confused

RE: Ads in android version
How much is PPSSPP Gold on Google play? $10?

@guicrith

If you played long enough with the free version to realize, "Hey, this is a freaking awesome program. I love it!," don't hesitate to buy that Gold version.

More support = More motivation for devs to enhance this program = More AWESOME PPSSPP! Big Grin

RE: Ads in android version
Gold builds are more about showing your support for the emulator than anything. It doesn't have anything special that free versions don't (aside from ads, and I think a slightly changed theme/logo), in terms of features.

The Gold version for Windows costs as much as you want to donate, though the minimum seems to be $2 US: http://central.ppsspp.org/buygold

On the Android store it's 6 bucks ($5.99, but we all know that's basically 6 dollars).

RE: Ads in android version
How stupid must you be to post such a comment??

This is one of the best and most uptodate emus on Android. You should rather ask how to make an extra donation 'after' buying the paid version.

Cheap Ppl like u really piss me off.

A long time ago. Android is the only platform that PPSSPP runs on that has ads.
