I can't say I've experienced that effect; the buffered rendering in my experience causes blurs and "ghosting" (the buffer is displaced up and to the left of the actual output, I think), and overbrightness especially on Edge of Madness, but never pixelation or missing pieces of models.

What version/revision are you using, and what are you running it on?

I only use PPSSPP on Windows.

Same ghosting issues persist on v0.9.1 1876...
This also seems to be affecting other squenix games like Kingdom Hearts BBS...any chances this will get fixed soon?

You can make the "ghosts" disappear by choosing non-buffered rendering.

The problem with that (besides wishing there hadn't been a regression - before it was possible to fix the rendering issues by changing rendering modes after the battle started) is that at some point - I didn't track exactly when - some important graphics were moved to display in the buffer only and are totally invisible in non-buffered rendering. For example, you can't see the EX burst indicator at all and just have to know it's there.

EDIT: Whatever caused the EX burst indicator to not appear without buffered rendering is gone in r1945. Non-buffered rendering works like it did in 0.8.1 now.

can i ask something?
this is my 1st time playing DDFF and i just got my emu yesterday, i've configure all my controls and buttons both in keyboard and joypad yet i still can't move my character in game battle (just the character, i can move normally for option and other menus)? i just dont understand?
now iam totally clueless Sad

PS: when i use my D-PAD config the only thing that moves in game is the camera

In Dissidia 012, the default is that you move your character with the analog stick and move the camera with the D-pad.

You can go to Options -> Character Control to change character movement to the D-pad and camera control to the analog.

I only use PPSSPP on Windows.

Guys, I'm new around here. I have a question, I downloaded a custom DLC for this game ( Zack model). How do I use that for this game? I am on android phone. Just finished Duodecim and I want to try something new. I tried putting the files in GAME folder but no dice.

Custom models work fine for me. Make sure it's in memstick\PSP\GAME\ULUS10566 (if you're playing US).

thanks dudes. It worked, and no negative effect on emulation too ( I thought it would make the emulation bad...)

Hi, I'm having issues with the white screen in the menu. After some time, the screen stays white when I transition between screens. Any fix for this? I'm using the PC version. Also, I tried putting some custom dlc songs in the memstick\PSP\GAME\ULUS10566, but none shows up.

custom dlc's are quite difficult to manage. They have specific controller (and ost) files to work. Also specific file names and dlc slots...I gave up bothering with them.

I have problems with playing this game on Android. I have Nexus 7 2012 and if start any battle on any map the screen becomes black, but meanwhile the game goes on. I can control etc. Help, please.

Hello, Dissidia 012 , seems to run well, however, most cutscenes are back screens, and on the world map (In scenarios) it seems to lag , but not severly, other then that a few small matters , such as characters with ribes (kuja) seem to have their robes stretch to very long lengths for a few seconds then revert.

All in all, i would just like someone to tell me the optimal settings on the PPSSPP emu , that could make the cutscenes run fine, and decrease the lag on the world map. I would appreciate this very much.
