Dolphin Emulator K1 Xiao mi Pad VS Nvidia shield tablet
Hi,

I've been looking at these two devices (Xiao Mi Pad and Nvidia Shield Tablet) for a considerable amount of time now, I was wondering which would give me better fps on dolphin. they both seem to have similar specs.

I'm expecting FPS around or better then this:

DESKTOP: Windows 7 professional, Asus motherboard Z97, Intel i7 4790k 4.0 ghz - 4.4 ghz boost, 16 gb Cosair ram 128 GB SSD (primary HD) 1TB (secondary HD) EVGA Nvidia GTX Titan Black

LAPTOP: Windows 8, ASUS, intel i7 3630QM 2.4-3.4 ghz boost 12 gb of ram primary HD 1TB SSD secondary HD 750 gb hd nvidia gtx 670mx

If you are in the US/EU, get the Nvidia Shield Tablet. It will cost less and have the same specs. Also, it's supported directly from Nvidia so it will get better support for OpenGL depending on their support relationship with Xiaomi.

Personally I would wait until the 64bit version of Nvidia Shield is released, the specs on that will be on par with what a PS3 or Xbox 360 or even high spec PC can do, sounds like the dawn of mobile gaming is nearly here.
Its codename is Darwin I believe it said.
It will be able to run the Unreal engine 4 games that only a few games at present are able to achieve on other systems.

How long will it take for iPhones to reach on level with PS3/360, and the new 64-bit version of the Nvidia Shield? I own a iPhone 5s... will the next model be able to play reicast roms better?

Wink RE: Dolphin Emulator K1 Xiao mi Pad VS Nvidia shield tablet
Thanks for all the input !!! After much thought and much consideration, i believe i SHALL get the Nvidia Tablet, its sad to see games run at .... what i would call shamefully bad fps, however i believe with time it will/should improve. Perhaps one of these days someone will overclock the Nvidia Tablet to make dolphin run smoother!!! ... well in any case, heres a video of Paper Mario in action on the nvidia tablet !!
