Help me, please! I can't see nothing but garbage on this game, with Buffered Rendering or not. The first screen is with "Software Rendering" disabled, the second with "Software Rendering" enabled. I'm using PPSSPP 0.97 Gold Version.

RE: Jeanne d'Arc
Hi guys, just thought I'd send a quick update, after much finagling (and uninstalling the driver and having to recognize a "new" video chip) I got the new drivers installed and it does in fact work now.

Just thought I'd say thanks All!

Hmm, your specs are more than adequate for this game/emulator.

Try resetting your settings back to the defaults and running the game again.
(Settings --> System --> Restore PPSSPP's settings to default)

Which version of the game are you running? (it shouldn't matter but it helps to cover all bases).

As a last ditch scenario, try getting another fresh rip of the game from your UMD if possible, it could be a bad rip.

Thanks for your time.

Threenator, do you have "Texture coord speedhack (speed up)" turned on? Try turning it off, if you do. It causes major graphical issues in JD'A.

Spot on mate. I forgot how that option produces the exact result as the user's screenshot.

Nice catch.

RE: Jeanne d'Arc
On another note, I'd also like to confirm that the game is 100% playable on my rig, from start to finish, plus with the latest fixes [Unknown] commited in past few days/week or so relating to the fonts, there are no more hang ups anywhere. Every cutscene can be enjoyed fully.

I used revision v0.9.7.2-132-gaee5f0d for the entire playthrough.

Emulator settings here (ppsspp.ini):-
https://gist.github.com/solarmystic/9332908

This could be moved to Playable if it were not for the fact that devices that do not support OpenGL 3.x/OpenGL ES 3.0 still have the missing characters issue.

Major Spoilers in the screenshots, so they are linked instead of shared:-

The final attainable anime cutscene.

The complete list of cutscenes in the Anime Theater.

The final Free Stage.

Bingo! I've disabled it and everything's ok now.
Thank you very much, pals!

RE: Jeanne d'Arc
Took a long break from ppsspp to give it more time to develop. This is one of the games I really wanted working. I use this on my galaxy note 2 with openGL es 2.0. From reading this thread are we out of luck on this game then without a newer version of openGL? Or is there still a possibility of getting this game to where we can see the characters?

RE: Jeanne d'Arc
This could be playable as it plays perfectly on my PC. If there were only a workaround for Android without openGL 3.0.

The game is graphically broken for Windows in v0.9.7.2-289-gdd140b7 and above, even for graphics cards that support the blitting function used in the game.

Use v0.9.7.2-288-g743854a and below until it's fixed.
