Bug Don'tYou think MHFU for Ios is cheating
Hi guys, it's me again.

Just surfed the net, went ro reddit and saw the MHFU for Ios

then a guy posted a link to its review which is here

now, when I saw the trailer which is embedded on that post, i feel cheated by capcom because of the controls.

Yes, by the controls

I mean, they should have given MHFU player on psp for an auto targeting option to be toggled on or off so that the game may have been noob friendly, resulting into an even more massive success in the western market.

I mean, seriously, Capcom, why now, not before?

I love reading Japanese Light Novels!
I'm also a God Eater and a Monster Hunter!

As a Monster Hunter Freedom Unite player, I think that auto targeting is a blasphemy.

Yep, there's the feel of realism when there's no auto-targeting.

PLUS, there are useful attacks which can be done by not directly facing the monster.
E.g.: breaking/cutting monsters' parts. Big Grin

Yes, and now we are used to move the camera manually, auto targeting would break our habits...

RE: Don'tYou think MHFU for Ios is cheating
? Huh
I thought auto targeting wasn't needed in MH series? Undecided

This topic remind me of the first time i point out the lack of auto targeting on my local forum. The opening statement and the answer is pretty much the same. Big Grin

I guess im not a fan of MH series. Maybe ts is the same as me. Tongue

RE: Don'tYou think MHFU for Ios is cheating
im not monster hunter fan even more i played it only like 30 min more or less

but i can tell you this

im probably older than you all here 1986 and i have bigger experience in game controls than you guys well only in some aspects i dont claim im smarter or know more

i just wanna say now we have like 90% of games let you change controls in every possible way to adjust ur needs and back then we did not have option to do so in most NES SNES PSX SEGA and PC games we at best luck had only button layout A B or C and that was all

we did not have much options in games

and there is no bigger frustration for a real average or rookie gamer than missing option that you just FEEEEEEEEL that it should be there and its not there

same as we did not have much options to change controls or non option to do so at all

but even now
even here

look at castlevania dracula x chronicles
WHAT THE FU©K is the idea to choose between analog stick control or d-pad control maybe i want both of them do exact the same thing

who the F*** was stupid enough to dont think about it that for example its more simple to walk around with analog but for example perform RUN (press direction 2 times and hold it at 2nd time) is easier to perform with d-pad so why in the F*** i would not want to at last have option to enable them both ????????

and i found that many psp games suffer from same idiocy

and i just wanna say its better to at last leave the option for gamer to decide if he/she want to use that options or not and not lock u with sh** that they think is good

like look im megaman fan and his is for example SNES gamepad controller

in megaman

Y = shoot
B = jump
A = dash

my thumb can only control 2 buttons at a time so either i can jump and shoot or dash and jump but i cant jump and shoot while dashing

and thats default button layout for megaman

but i have option to CHANGE this i can set dash from A to L-trigger button

and now i can play as it like cause game provide me with PROPER OPTIONS and not lock me with 1 kind of button layout well if not this i would probably never will to play it to the end

anyway no 1 should say if there should or should not be option for something cause from what i believe games should provide as many options as its possible so ppl could adjust game to their playing style

for example im RPGs i dont use magic at all i just use simple physical attacks or auto battle and thats enough for me i dont use too many potions or herbs

i just use magic sometimes on bosses and im not even used to select proper spell for proper boss i always use the strongest one or one which consume biggest amount of MP

this mean i grind allot in rpg games
other than that just normal attacks but you guys probably use allot of magic spells techniques or stuff like that

and i would never say that spells magic or stuff like that should not exist in RPGs just cause i dont see it useful or i dont use it at all

cause i know when i dont use it than it dont mean others would not use them also so dont think so bad about auto targeting

god dam again too long post about nothing Big Grin

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Please hear me, DON'T USE AUTO-TARGETTING!

All players start as a noob when they first play a game they've never played before.

Practice will make you better. Big Grin

RE: Don'tYou think MHFU for Ios is cheating
I'm just ranting about capcom doinh sh*t
But maybe, we can now petition for an official MHP3rd english Release!
And also, not having auto targeting is a blessing because you could observe your surrounding more and avoid enemies
(^^^^^^^I'm just ranting, sorry^^^^^^^^)
