PPSSPP going slow on my tablet

Hi friends, the last week i adquired the ppsspp emulator for my android tablet.
this emulator look very well, but i cant play the games without lag. I have a dual core tegra 2 tablet with android 4.0.4.
there will be some solution to play without lag??
